Hogwarts Legacy: Collector's Edition - PlayStation 5 (PS5)

Thought I was gonna be refunded by Best Buy but got an email 2/21, the day of, that it was ready for pickup. Placed order 1/24

Just got mine from Best Buy that I pre-ordered on Jan/22nd SMH

Best Buy finally has mine ready for pick up, I pre-ordered on Feb 4th

Heck yeah just got mine from gamestop

Has anybody else had Best Buy email them saying that if they dont get the stock in theyll automatically cancel your order?

Mine got relieved by Best Buy first thing in the morning!!

@joeypetru I ended up just cancelling and getting one from Amazon. Its still not going to be on time but Im very mad Best Buy set unrealistic expectations. And they were super unhelpful and rude when I contacted them. I just didnt feel like giving them my money anymore. And its a shame. I usually prefer brick and mortar.

Other who pre ordered from best buy, you still waiting? Whats your course of action? I guess we arent playing this game on time

@betweenhissheets if thats the case then they shouldnt have had restocks all the way up to the release day. I got my pre order in like 3 weeks ago.

@gamerjunkie The manager for the store I go to literally told me they prioritized people who preordered last year and for Christmas.

@everyone. I can almost guarantee employees are buying them before orders are filled in at bestbuy

@mcgoods @joeypetru @betweenhissheets same thing happened to me. Says ready for pick up today on app. Went to the store and they told me there wasnt enough for pre orders. They dont know when mine will be available.

Best Buy is acting stupid its not ready for pick up.

Anyone else get screwed by best buy? I pre ordered for pick up. App says ready today but the store says they dont have the inventory and support says it went out of stock while the order was processing. I have to wait 2-3 days. But i just have this feeling im not gunna get it at all

@zhansen488 Was supposed to get mine today, came in the store AND called and got told I probably wont get it for two weeks since all the stores near me didnt have enough for people who preordered.

@mchow the issue with doing what you are talking about is that the store you are changing to must have the item in stock as well, otherwise you cant change the order pick-up there.

@zhansen488 my store doesnt have stock, so I guess I can buy one at a store many miles away that does have stock, and then quickly change the store in my order to the one nearest me? If thats the case, how long do I have to make changes to my order after buying, before its avail for pickup at the wrong store?
