Just got the camera! Auto buy is definitely worth it cause an hour later i managed to pick up the camera!

I had success with autobuy getting a camera for store pickup at Best Buy in Everett, MA and Fairlakes, VA. I kept trying different stores to see if I could get one closer to home and eventually secured one from Charlotte, NC, but this one said it would ship to me! Will be cancelling both in-store pickups. I hope this helps someone!

@dtw-pac Best Buy is location-dependant for pickup AND shipping. your Store setting in Best buy determines your stock availability for both

Signed up yesterday for auto buy and was about to secure a camera moments ago!

@ chimi when it gets it for you a message pops up saying it got it and you’ll see the order in your best buy account as usual

@chimi just leave it alone. The blue banner is just an info thing, it goes away by itself if it's not in stock in your region, no need to touch it. When I got mine I just left my autobuy alone, and it eventually beeped at me when it carted it and held it in my cart while best buy asked for my CVV bank verification

When auto buy starts, sometimes I get the blue banner twice and then it goes away (while the phone vibrates a few times). Nothing happens. Can someone describe how a successful auto buy looks?

2 months in the autobuy and I finally got mine today at BB! I wasn’t the best at keeping the app open but I clicked at the notification and it finally let me buy it by only adding CVV. Double check your card for payment authorization.

Got one from Best Buy with autobuy yesterday! Had to enter CVV in hotstock app but picking it up later this week

I messed up the checkout process and lost it! T_T

Wow - auto-buy Best Buy actually worked today. I had to be on standby to approve the AMEX additional authentication (via App) but did it quickly and order went through.
