PS5 Pro - 30th Anniversary Edition bundle

Managed to get a 30th Dual Sense Edge as they were up for a good 10mins or so. No consoles tho :(

They just brought more of controllers in stock like I had in basket but it’s a controller I would rather get console

Unless PlayStation are hogging the stock

Still hoping for some to go back in stock but very unlikely now that they should have completed all payments

Will be interesting to see just how many, if any of them go back in stock

My payment pending for other items I bought, would expect those whose payments failed to have had an email but not sure how it works.

No you do not. I got a email regarding a controller the other week stating I had 24 hours to rectify, the following day.

You get 48 hours to update your Payment details for a pre order on playstation if the initial payment fails (they have done in the past with myself) may be next week we see any cancellations

Payment is due to be taken on the 14th for the preorders. Sony sent a reminder that payment methods should be correct to prevent cancellation. I think there will be a bunch of them into stock on Thursday. :)

probably just the 1 that was in stock, from someone's order getting cancelled by Sony cause they didn't have enough money in their account, or it couldn't get delivered and wen back up for sale, something like that

So in a few years when you can't connect to the servers it will just be a extremely expensive paperweight. Atleast the PS4 and others can still be played on with a physical copy of the game (multiplayer may not work but the console will for offline) the ps5 won't even be able to play discs given you need to verify the disc drive on each launch through internet connection

Eggz there is only 12,300 of them worldwide. It's Sony history. Of course it'll hold value if not significantly increase. Once the 30th was announced the 20th ps4s went up like crazy.

From a collectors point of view will the ps5 30th anniversary limited edition hold any value down the line? Given it's only digital and needs disc drive verification would it be usable in saying 10 - 20 years down the line when the servers are shut down? I can't see the appeal like the older ones that can plug and play although it does look gorgeous lol

I have the limited elite, dual sense and portal as well as the regular pro. But I need that limited pro. It’s so gorgeous, I can’t stop picturing it next to my tv. Will actually use it and play on it
